As a designer I love working in Illustrator as well as Photoshop. Starting the process with wireframing when appropriate I usually use Balsamiq, I have also used OmniGraffle and InDesign which looks very nice but most of the time I have found using something more casual like Balsamiq allows for faster iteration and therefore it’s faster to get to the design phase.

I’m addicted to Creative Market at the moment, they have great weekly freebies for designers and I’m a bit of a cool font hoarder as most designers are. I do have a thing for vintage print textures but understand NOT to use it on everything. 😉
